Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. What if I am already appointed with carriers through another organization? A. If you are already appointed with carriers through another organization you can keep those appointments and that association. We provide dual-appointments through our contracting partner, Allegis Advisor Group, and do not require any exclusive agreement. Q. Can I sell life insurance with your system in any state? A. Our system allows you to sell life insurance in any state that you are licensed in, with or without your direct involvement. Q. How do I get licensed to sell life insurance in additional states? A. To easily get licensed in states outside your home state simply go to www.nipr.com (left-hand side, under “Electronic Licensing”), where you can do so electronically. Q. How do I complete my Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training requirement? A. AML training can be completed, without cost to the agent, through LIMRA. If you are an existing user, you can log on using the first four letters of your last name and the last six digits of your social security number. If you are a new user, when creating an account under "Step 2" choose "Allegis Advisor Group" as your NAILBA member agency. If you have trouble, click on the link "Need additional help?" under the log on section, or call the LIMRA Help Desk at 866-364-2380. AML training is required to get appointed with our various insurance carriers. Q. How involved do I have to be in the application process? A. Once an application is submitted through your website, you do not need to be involved any further. We will process the application, make sure the paramedical appointment is set up, order any necessary medical records, and keep the applicant updated with the progress of their application. Additionally, we will deliver the policy and obtain the first premium payment. However, all throughout this process we keep you up to date and are available to answer any questions you or the applicant has. Q. Are there minimum sales requirements? A. There are no minimum sales requirements in using our system. You will not be penalized for lack of production. Q. How do I get paid? A. By getting appointed with the various insurance carriers we use, you will be paid direct by those carriers themselves (your name goes on each application submitted through the website). If you have not submitted your contracting paperwork at the time an application is submitted through your website, or choose not to get appointed by a carrier, we will charge an extra 5% processing fee from your commissions and you will be paid direct by CEG LIFE. Q. Do you require all of my insurance business? A. No. While we welcome all of your business, you are not required to put any business through CEG LIFE. However, all business submitted through your website will be processed by CEG LIFE and as a result we will be paid a percentage of those cases. Q.
